Richest Cast Members of Marvel Cinematic Universe

10 Richest Cast Members of Marvel Cinematic Universe

Ladies and Gentlemen we present you: the Richest Cast Members of Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Today we are going to talk about your heroes, the actors who gave life to comic books characters.

But before we do that, we must do a quick Marvel Universe recap.

The shared fictional universe where stories in most comic books released by Marvel Entertainment take place is called The Marvel Universe.

And in that universe we find Marvel’s most famous characters, such as the Avengers,Spider-man, the X-men, the Fantastic Four and so on.

Unfortunately we can’t write about every single one of the cast members of Marvel Universe, and so Chris Evans (Captain America), Natalie Portman (Thor) and some others were left out.

But some of your favorite actors are still a part of our top. Anyway, let’s see who are the richest cast members of Marvel Universe.

10. Scarlett Johansson –$55 Million

We start out counting with one of the most loveable actresses in the world. Everybody loves her, and that love is directly proportional with her income.

You know her from superheroes films like Iron Man 2, The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier where she played Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff.

Yes, they got her right. Her performance in those films makes her a great Black Widow for which she got much appreciation from the fans all over the world.

Marvel cast her as Black Widow for a one film, but because she was so good they extended her contract for other superhero films such as The Avengers, Captain America and the up-coming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Scarlett Johansson has a net worth estimated at $55 million.

Also here: Ian Mckellen with the same net worth.
NEXT: #9. Bradley Cooper

9. Bradley Cooper –$60 Million

Bradley Cooper is the newest member of cinematic Marvel Universe. He is a part of Guardians of the Galaxy phenomenon.

We don’t actually see Bradley on screen because he serves as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, but he is great as Rocket.

Don’t you think?

The success of the film was so huge that it appears we will be seeing much of Rocket Raccoon in the future.

Before Bradley got to voice the intelligent raccoon, he had roles in films like: Silver Lighting Playbook, Limitless, The Hangover, The Words and so on.

My point is, even if he hasn’t gotten the role of Rocket he would still be a great actor and his net worth is here to prove it.

Also here: Patrick Stewart.
NEXT: #8. Gwyneth Paltrow

8. Gwyneth Paltrow – $60 Million

The blonde actress has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first Iron Man when she kicked ass with her performance as Pepper Potts.

She plays the love interest and business partner of Tony Stark (aka Iron Man). And unlike other characters she got an Iron Man Mach Armor and gained super-powers as a result of the Extremis Virus in Iron Man 3.

Her character was one of the biggest players in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which gave her the chance to make an appearance in The Avengers film.

Gwyneth Paltrow has a net worth estimated at $60 million.

NEXT: #7. Chris Hemsworth

7. Chris Hemsworth –$71 Million

I believe that they couldn’t cast a better Thor than Chris Hemsworth. None of the other choices would make a better Thor than this guy.

Why do I say that? Well, because Chris has both the look and the vibe for the character. It’s just perfect that you’d think that he is a real Asgradian.

Like many actors from this list, Chris’s career has taken a big turn for the better after he stepped into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Thor, Chris has had small roles such as the father to young James T. Kirk in Star Trek series.

NEXT: #6. Vin Diesel

6. Vin Diesel –$75 Million

Say hello to Vin Diesel, the actor who takes the sixth position in our list.

We have to be honest here and say that he did great as Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

He quickly became one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he didn’t have to do much.

But he did say “I am Groot” in many other languages. Diesel was the perfect choice for the voice of Groot.

I got to say that Marvel does know how to choose their cast members.

For that performance and for the Fast and Furious series, Vin Diesel’s net worth is estimated at $75 million.

NEXT: #5. Halle Berry

5. Halle Berry – $80 Million

The American actress is a former model and beauty queen who got the chance to enter into Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Since she began her career in 1986, she has been a busy and productive actress ever since.

Berry reached a higher level of prominence in the new millennium with roles such as Storm in the X-Men film series (2000–present).

Other films that she is known for are: Swordfish (2001), and Die Another Day (2002), where she played Bond Girl Jinx, later finding success in the 2010s with movies such as Cloud Atlas (2012) and The Call (2013).

She has received recognition for her performances and has won an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award for her portrayal of Dorothy Dandridge in the film Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.

NEXT: #4. Anthony Hopkins

4. Anthony Hopkins –$90 Million

It is true, Anthony hasn’t had much screen time in the Marvel film, but a great actor such as him doesn’t need many takes to make an impression.

And he did impress us with his performance as Odin, Thor’s father and adopted father of Loki in the Thor films.

Some of you seem to disagree with Marvel decision to cast Hopkins as Odin, but they think with the great talent nothing is an issue.

What do you think of his performance as Odin? Do you think they should have cast another actor to play the role?

NEXT: #3. Hugh Jackman

3. Hugh Jackman – $100 Million

Number three in our list is the actor who gave life to Wolverine in so many Marvel films.

For some actors, Jackman might seem like a triple threat that can sing and dance as he is appearing on the big screen, but for the rest of the world Hugh Jackman is Wolverine.

I don’t think there is another actor this good to play the mutant who can regenerate himself. We don’t even want to think what it would be if suddenly Jackman decides to quit.

His $100 million net worth is made mostly from playing one character: Wolverine. And yea, this year X-Men movie “Days of Future Past” was the highest-grossing of the series.

Some of his other films include, “The Prestige“, “The Fountain”, and “Australia”. He also received a Tony Award for his work in “The Boy from Oz”, and Emmy for his work hosting The Tony Awards.

NEXT: #2. Robert Downey Jr.

2. Robert Downey Jr. – $150 Million

Unfortunately, Robert Downey Jr. isn’t the richest cast member of Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I am telling you, he is close.

He is the man we all geek fans should thank for all these superhero films and TV series, because of Robert’s portrayal of Iron man helped Marvel and Disney to rise from the ground.

The film was everything Marvel Cinematic Universe needed.

Because Iron Man became such a huge hit, more films got to be made for the delight of comic books lovers.

Robert is the one who made Iron Man from not so popular character to Marvel’s new flagship.

Because of that, his net worth is now estimated to $150 million.

NEXT: #1. Samuel L. Jackson

1. Samuel L. Jackson –$170 Million

And the moment you all have been waiting, the richest cast member of Marvel Cinematic Universe is Samuel L. Jackson, of course.

They took a chance when cast Samuel L. Jackson to play a comic book character, because he isn’t entirely in the loop about comic books.

But once again, Marvel choice proved to be beneficial for everyone.

Before Jackson, Nick Fury was played by David Hasselhoff but decided to change it into Jackson.

Why? Because they noticed that the characters didn’t seem to age and decided to create a second line of comics called Ultimate that would take place in its own universe. Then they rebooted a number of characters in a more modern setting.

In those books the Avengers got their origins tied to Nick Fury.

More to the change, when rebooting the Fury character, artist Bryan Hitch actually modeled the character directly after Samuel L. Jackson.

So, they cast Jackson for the role.
