He was born in London, in 1640 and he’s the adoptive father of Edward, Alice, Emmett, Jasper and Rosalie.
Unlike other vampires, Carlisle has a gift of compassion, which allowed him to become a ‘vegetarian’, being able to completely resist the temptation of human blood.
