He made big money during the 1980 Iran and Iraq wars when his companies transported high risk oil, having a huge profit.
By the year 2006 he turned down the Norwegian citizenship and became a Cypriot. For him owning a football team doesn’t mean spending a large amount of money and investing in the purchase of players, that’s why the team has a 10 year break since they won their last championship.
He is know to be in business with the number 8 from our richest football club owners list, Roman Abramovich, who made him a 200 million dollar offer, on a house Fredriksen has in London.
