David Toms had his prime time in his professional golf career from 2001 to 2006. He was constantly ranked within the top 10. In fact, he won the PGA Championship in 2001. Nowadays, injuries and inactivity have sent him down to the 185th rank.
Nevertheless, David has won enough titles and earned a pretty good amount of prize money to put him as one of the all-time top golfers. Turned pro in 1989, he has been a pro for almost three decades.

He spent some of that prize money to help underprivileged, abused, and abandoned children. He founded the David Toms Foundation in 2003 for that purpose.
