Retired player Rob Blake was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014, after he officially retired in 201o.
Blake was first drafted to the NHL in 1988, playing for the Los Angeles Kings for the next 11 years. After a period with the Colorado Avalanche, Blake returned to play for the Kings in 2006, with a pay packet of $6 million a year.
Since retirement, Blake has been an assistant manager to his former team, and he joined the Colorado Avalanche’s 20th anniversary team in December 2015.
