The billionaire inherited the company from his father, Pietro, who started making Nutella when cocoa was rationed during World War II.
During 2012, the company earned $10.5 billion in revenue, thanks to growth in the U.S., Asia and Russia.
And thanks to that growth, the Ferrero family’s net worth is now $24.8 billion.
