Both an actress and a musician, Milla Jovovich was born in Kiev and moved to California with her family when she was 5.
The face of campaigns like Dior, Banana Republic, Gap, Versace and Calvin Klein, Jovovich was also Miuccia Prada’s muse and “favourite supermodel” in the early 2000s. 2004 was her highest earning year from modelling – Forbes reported her earnings as $10.5 million, putting her in the top 5 of the richest models for that year.
Jovovich’s most memorable roles include starring in 2002’s Resident Evil, as well as its many sequels, and 1997’s iconic sci-fi film The Fifth Element, directed by Luc Besson.
