11. Carson Palmer – $60 million
We have another quarterback on our list. This one plays for Arizona Cardinals. Carson Palmer torn one of his left knee’s ligament in 2014 but he made a great comeback which earned him the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award in 2015.
Palmer is familiar with knee injury. That was not his first. In 2006, he was suffering from what it seemed to be a career-ending injury. Fortunately, he survived. He had his knee reconstructed from a deceased woman’s tendon.
Since he started his professional American football career in 2003, he has scored 259 touchdowns and made 166 interceptions. He is now the third highest paid NFL player with approximately $600,000 weekly salary. Thus, its should come as no surprise that he has $60 million of estimated net worth.
Looking back to what was potentially the end of his career from where he is now, he should thank the 44-year-old deceased woman who was killed by a drunk driver in 2004.
