7. Bear Grylls — $10 million
Bear is the ultimate man, the man you wish you were, the man you wish your husband were.
It is better known for the show he produced for Discovery Channel –Man vs. Wild-.
On the show he was dropped in the middle of nowhere and required to survive off anything he can find, eating bugs and sheltering the caves in order to reach the extraction point.
After he was fired from –Man vs. Wild- he started another show called –Running Wild With Bear Grylls- where he and a celebrity are dropped in the middle of nowhere and had to arrive to certain extraction point.
The show not only tests his limits but also the limits of the celebrities he chooses. The show already has two episodes, one with Zac Efron and the other with the comedian Ben Stiller.
Bear was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout as a kid and now he is the Chief Scout, the head of the entire program, the youngest person to hold the position (he was 34 years old).
He served in the British Special Air Services (SAS), has climbed Mount Everest, and has a Black Belt in karate.
Also, he broke his back in three places on a parachuting jump over Sothern Africa. In 2009 broke the record by hosting a dinner party at a table suspended below a hot air balloon at 24,500 feet.
Grylls owns an island on the Welsh coast, which includes a nature reserve, and lives on a converted barge on the River Thames with his wife Shara and their sons Jesse and Marmaduke and Huckleberry.
