The youngest son of Sam Walton, now 66-year old Jim Walton, is ranked 7 on the list of richest people in America.
In high-school he was the president of his junior class, played football at all-state level. But the best thing he did at school is learning to fly a plane.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1971, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Marketing.
One year later, he joined Walmart, and was involved in its real estate dealing. After four years there, he got the position of president of Walton Enterprises.
After his brother John died in 2005, Walton replaced him on the Walmart Board of Directors. He is currently on the Strategic Planning and Finance committees.
His current net worth is estimated at $40.6 billion and according to Forbes.
