8.Cristina Stenbeck – Net Worth: $597 million
Cristina Mayville Stenbeck is a 36-year-old Swedish American business woman that runs the Swedish-based company Investment AB Kinnevik, the company that owns the Metro newspaper if that helps.
Her father, Jan Stenbeck left everybody speechless, including his daughter, when he announced in 1999 that his daughter would succeed him as head of the company. And so it happened three years later, in 2002 when Jan tragically died of a heart attack.
But Cristina is a very active person and in 2014 she was appointed not only chairman of the board at Zalando, but also at telecoms giant Millicom.
And of course, people noticed her hard work and success, so in 2012 she won the Swedish Royah Patriotic Society Business Medal and the Golden Gavel.
