Azim Premji is doing even better than he was last year, when he was No. 4 in the list of India’s richest people.
He is the chairman of Wipro Limited, a multinational IT Consulting and System Integration services company and India’s third-largest outsourcer.
At this point the company has 146,000 employees and a presence in 61 countries. He had to took over the company when he was just 21 years old, as his father passed away,
He has twice been listed among the 100 most influential people by TIME Magazine, once in 2004 and more recently in 2011.
At this moment, his net worth is estimated to $16.4 Billion.
