We end our article with Eyal Ofer, the oldest brother of Idan Ofer, the 5th richest man in Israel.
The 64-year-old businessman has a net worth of $6.8 billion and is the principal of Zodiac Group, based in Monaco, and Chairman of Zodiac Maritime Agencies, a privately-held London-based shipping corporation with a fleet of more than 130 vessels.
Among other shipping interests are included privately-held OMNI Offshore Terminals and a stake in NYSE-listed Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where Eyal Ofer has been a director for more than 15 years.
Ofer also has a stake in Israel-based Mizrahi Tefahot bank. His real estate holding include the Altria Building and the 15 Central Park West in New York and he’s redeveloping the historic St. Vincent’s Hospital, in Greenwich Village.
