Tadashi Yanai is the founder and CEO of Fast Retailing, a giant fashion retailer, which is Asia’s largest apparel company, and is expected to become the largest clothing company in the world.
Fast Retailing spent $300 million on lease, when it opened an 89.000-square-foot Uniqlo store in Manhattan, the largest retail space on Fifth Avenue. The company also owns the Theory and Helmut Lang brands.
Yanay’s sons are each worth over $1 billion each.
