As we learned before, Ana Maria and Rosa, the girls of the family didn’t get very much involved in the management of the company. But their brothers Mario and Pedro did.
After the death of their father in 1951, the two of them took control of the company. Together, they expanded the company into a multitude of other businesses including agriculture, fish products, cement, paint products and mining.
Pedro gave his shares in the companies to his nephews and his sister, Ana María and Mario’s sons own 40% of Grupo Breca.
His net worth is estimated to be $1.8 Billion.
