Shin Chang-Jae is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kyobo Life, the largest life insurance company in South Korea. Kyobo Life was founded by his father and Shin Chang-Jae took over in 1999.
He is a former Seoul National University obstetrician, never wanting to become a businessman. Even though sales were down 40% last year, it seems like being involved in insurance pays better than being an obstetrician.
