He inherited Ferring Pharmaceuticals from his father. The company was founded sixty years ago by his father, Dr Frederik Paulsen Sr.
Ferring Pharmaceuticals makes infertility, obstetrics, urology, gastroenterology and endocrinology products and he started running the business in 1983 generating $15 million in revenue annually.
Now, things are a lot better for Frederik Paulsen, as the company has sales of $1.7 billion.
So, he is new to the billionaires list with a net worth of $4.8 Billion.
