Founder of the Rahmi Koc Museum, Turkey’s first museum dedicated to transportation, industry and communication, Mustafa Rahmi Koc is one of Turkey’s wealthiest people.
Koc is an antique lover and was inspired to open the museum after he visited the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, in Michigan.
He was the chairman of Koc Holdings, but in 2003 he transferred the job to his son. Fond of the sea, the billionaire went on two-year world tour on his sailboat after retiring.
