The professional poker player life started for John Juanda in 2001 and 2002 when he was nominated tournament Player of the Year be a well known poker magazine.
The Indonesian-born American won a lot of poker series and tournaments promoting himself like the poker player with five World Series of Poker bracelets.
His performance made him over 13 million dollars in earnings, all of them made after his 2004 burst when he won the inaugural Professional Poker Tour in Connecticut.
One after the other he slowly started to play more and win more tournaments and cash games.
John Juanda became one of the richest poker players in the world with over 50 WSOP tournaments played where he finished at the final table over 16 times.
