Jean Fleury was a 16th-century French naval officer and privateer, best known for the capture of 2 out of 3 Spanish ships carrying the Aztec treasure from Mexico to Spain.
And most of the Aztec gold that he collected was never found, although it is believed it was spread from France to Cuba.
In 1519, Hernando Cortes gathered in 3 years the Aztec treasures. On the way back to Spain, the pirate showed up and stole 2 of the 3 ships in the fleet.
