2. Tyra Banks – $18 million salary
Tyra Banks has been a successful model since she was 15, but it’s her show America’s Next Top Model which she has become most famous for.
America’s Next Top Model began in 2005 and ran for 22 seasons, and was both created and presented by Banks. ANTM was UPN’s highest-rated show from 2007-10, and advertisers would reportedly pay $60,000 for a 30 second advertising slot during the show’s commercial breaks.
ANTM has discovered a host of modelling talent, with 22 winners. The latest, Nyle DiMarco was the show’s first deaf winner, and recently walked for Giorgio Armani.
The show was cancelled in 2015 and bought by VH1. Banks will not return as a host but will continue her role as executive producer.
