12. Keith Urban – $5 million salary
Famous country musician Keith Urban (and lucky husband to Nicole Kidman) has been playing country music since 1990. He made his debut as a solo artist in 1999.
In 2011, Urban became one of the four judges on the Australian edition of The Voice, alongside Seal, Delta Goodrem and Joel Madden. He quit the show after season one due to “other commitments”. Those ‘other commitments’ seemed to be American Idol, and he joined their panel for season 12 alongside Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. He completed four more seasons with them, probably because they pay much more than The Voice.
