Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has been a judge and coach on The Voice since it began in 2011, along with Blake Shelton.
Levine’s acts have won three times, including Javier Colon (season 1), Tessanne Chin (season 5), and Jordan Smith (season 9). Despite Maroon 5 being reasonably successful in the US and internationally, The Voice made Levine a household name and massively increased his popularity as well as his earning potential. He’s also regarded as the most popular coach on Twitter, racking up 2.14 million Twitter mentions during season 3.
After the tragic shooting of former The Voice contestant Christina Grimmie, Levine has said he is not returning to his judge position on the show.
