Mister Paul David Hewson is an Irish musician born in Glasnevin, Ireland on May 10 1960.
At the age of sixteen, Bono formed his famous band U2, named Feedback at that time. The band will change its name to U2 1977.
In 1980, the rock band U2 signed a contract with Island Records and became one of the most famous rock bands in the world.
Bono and his band U2 released a total of 12 albums, won twenty-two Grammy awards and sold over 150 million records worldwide.
In case you didn’t know, if the odds will be in his favor, Bono will become the second billionaire rock star.
How ? Well, in 2009, his investment firm Elevation Partners bought a 1.5% stake in Facebook for $90 million. Now, in 2015, that 1.5 % stake at Facebook’s market cap of $40 billion is worth $600 million.
