4. King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz – Net Worth: $17 billion
The king of one of the richest countries in the world, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz is also the chief of one of the largest crude oil deposits.
Every country has its ups and downs, but Saudi Arabia was lucky to have their king when the country was in global recession and struggled with unemployment.
What this King did is magnificent. He led Saudi Arabia through the global recession and even pushed through $130 billion in unemployment packages and housing programs.
But his time as a King might be over soon, because he is 90 years old, and with no heir to take over the throne when he will die, his 76-year old brother Prince Salman will take his place.
