9. George Harrison – $400 million
Even though he died that doesn’t make him less brilliant. The songs that he wrote were left behind, leaving us a memory of how good he was. He was and ever will be a legend.
His passion for music eventually led George to meet with John Lennon, Paul McCartney to form the first iteration of The Beatles.
Although, John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the band’s primary songwriters, George Harrison contributed with singles like “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Here Comes the Sun”, and “Something”.
He was a member of The Beatles, and after his colleague John Lennon died, he become a bit of a paranoid recluse and after a while he died from lung cancer at the age of 58.
George Harrison was ranked number eleven on a recent list of the greatest guitarists of all time.
