8- Simon Fuller – $580 million
I am sure you watch some of his shows, but I am not sure if you know who he is.
The English entrepreneur, artist manager and television producer is best known for being the creator of the Idol franchise, which was first seen in UK under the name Pop Idol.
The franchise became famous rapidly and it was sold to more than 100 countries around the world- perhaps including your own country.
Plus, this guy is also the co-creator and executive producer of reality shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, Q’Viva and other U.S. and European TV shows.
Did you know that he first started by managing the female pop group called Spice Girls?
But Spice Girls wasn’t the only group he managed. There was a wide range of talents from whom we recall: Steven Tyler, Lewis Hamilton, Amy Winehouse, Carrie Underwood, Aloe Blacc, David and Victoria Beckham and many others.
In 2007, Time magazine named Fuller one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
And in 2008, he was certified as the most successful British music manager of all time by Billboard magazine.
