Apart from being one of the richest comedians, Jerry Seinfeld is also actor, writer, and television/film producer.
He is best known for playing Seinfeld, a TV series in the 1989-1998 which he co-created with Larry David.
But before Seinfeld, he started by doing stand-up comedy in New York and even made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1981.
We could easily say that appearance led to regular appearances on that show and was the start of his long career.
But then it came the time when Seinfeld the sitcom had to end, and Jerry returned to comedy instead of pursuing an acting career.
On 21 May 2014, with an estimated net worth of $820 million, he emerged as the wealthiest actor alive according to the Wealth-X Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List.
