4.Four Seasons Hualalai, Kona, Hawaii
One of the most romantic getaway places in the United States is the Four Seasons Hualalai, in Kona.
World-wide known, Four Seasons has a lot of mind-blowing resorts, and the one in Hawaii is one of them.
What makes this place unique is its setting where the fire meets the sea. The resort is carved from fields of black lava flow, and along with the beautiful beach and bright blue sea… just imagine the view!
If you want to learn some of the traditional Hawaiian activities such as canoe paddling and surfing, you can definitely do that, and you can also see the whales near the beach, if you visit Four Seasons from November to May.
The hotel has what’s called the King’s Pool, a lagoon-like complex carved from black lava and up to 4.5 meters deep. And this pool is filled with more than 3.500 fish, so just imagine the experience of swimming in it! It’s just like a huge and luxurious aquarium!
