Spring 2014 Fashion Trends: Fringe

Fringes are back! And they come in a much modern, chic and elegant way, this season. So let’s welcome back the bohemian fashion trend with a little inspiration for spring taken straight from fashion week! Take a look at: Spring 2014 Fashion Trends: Fringe.

For seasons and season, fringes keep on bringing back the boho-chic fashion trends, but for in the Spring 2014 trend report, we’re going to show you more options on how to wear fringes in a different way with inspiring snapshots taken straight from the streets and from fashion weeks across the world. Stay tuned!

If you thought that fringes work best on retro Charleston dresses, then we suggest you take a look at the fabulous pants above. This spring, choose a pair of ripped of pair of jeans with fringe details on the ankle area or even a pair of chic pants with fringes on the side from top to bottom. They are chic, easy to wear and they definitely make a statement. Wear them with ankle boots, basic pumps or even some Converse sneakers.

For those that think a pair of pants are not a big enough statement, you can go big with a fabulous jacket with fringe details. Go crazy on colors and shapes, but try and stay away from  looking to vintage with an oversized jacket.

As seen on the examples above, fringes are very versatile when it comes to skirts. You can easily play with colors and textile materials even though the shape is pretty much the same. We suggest going for a leather fringe skirt with a loose blouse and flats if you want to wear it during daytime. For night, choose a longer length, a pair of classy pointy toe pumps and a cropped top.

Fringes are not needed to be used only on clothing items. You can choose this trend on accessories as well. A statement necklace could easily pump up a basic outfit and make it look fabulous. Along with necklaces, fringe bags are very easily to combine with casual looks even if you go for black or a more eclectic color.

Multiple celebrities have been spotted several times wearing fringe clothing items or accessories on the streets lately. Olivia Palermo, Alessandra Ambrosio, Kim Kardashian, supermodel Kate Moss are just a few of them. Worldwide recognized fashion bloggers like Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad or Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller have been seen wearing fringe accessories as well.
