If you’re looking for a way to spice up a bit your business wardrobe this spring, then we suggest you to go big or go home. By big we mean a full midi skirt to pump up your femininity, style and elegance at work. One of the most eye-catching fashion trends spotted in the Spring 2014 designer collections were beautiful and glamorous full skirts that put the accent back on refinement rather than sexiness.
Having doubts about how you could pull off this look? Then get inspired from these outfits taken straight from the runway in fashion shows such as: Prada, Delpozo, Christian Dior, Tracy Reese, Jean Paul Gaultier, Celine or Dolce&Gabbana.
For those still in doubt how could they adapt a full skirt to their personal wardrobe, we styled an chic Parisian outfit for a special night out. Whether you choose to go to a romantic date, a night out with your girlfriends or an evening at the theatre, we specially combined Audrey Hepburn’s vintage allure with Carrie Bradshaw’s fabulous attitude an pulled an outfit where the entire focus comes on the full skirt.
The outfit starts from this season’s trendiest item: the full skirt. We chose Ted Baker’s Monny Rose on Canvas skirt that comes in a splash of color and will bright out the entire look. After that we selected a pair of black pointy-toe Gianvito Rossi pumps, a lime green Yves Saint Laurent clutch and a basic black cropped top with long sleeves. Since it’s more of a night outfit, we added a Suno Quilted Jacket on top.
