What is the hotel?
It is a design-led boutique hotel in the Nimman area, built around contemporary rooms, a rooftop pool and Italian dining. The Akyra brand described itself this way:

What changed since our first look?
The old akyra website now redirects to a different property, and booking sites list the hotel as both Akyra Manor and AMANOR. Listings now give 62 rooms, a number that differs from the 30 suites we wrote about earlier, which may reflect an expansion or different counting.
The restaurant is currently named Akyra Italics and serves modern Italian. The brand’s description of the original venue was:
” Serving a deli menu, 13 inch Pizza’s and the best coffee in the area during the day and at night, transformed into the best fine dining experience Chiang Mai has to offer”
The hotel also quoted that its suites would change the way you think about hotel rooms:
