Step Inside This Minimalist All White Seaside Studio Apartment
If you think you have seen an all white house, you will have to reconsider things after you’ll see this one.
Located in Barcelona, these place is the work of Spanish studio Colombo and Serboli Architecture, and the result is simply amazing.
You know those commercials for a toothpaste which whitens your teeth like hell? They must have used that in designing this apartment.
Because the place is all shining white, and it offers you a super extra etc. clean feeling, which is awesome.
The studio apartment was designed for an art historian who wanted a plain space where he could display his art, music and books, which makes sense.
Because other things could easily be the center of attention, when everything around them is white.
But for a better understanding of how white this place is, I suggest taking a look at these photos.
“The renovation of this 36 square meters apartment came with a defined brief. The client, a French Art historian and curator, professor at the Sorbonne University, came to us with very clear ideas for his small property.”
“The client envisioned a peaceful, open and essential space, furnished with a few carefully selected objects; contemporary artworks, some books, and his records. In sum, a peaceful place for introspection, flooded with light. ”
“The space is conceived through three different blocks: the bathroom/kitchen block, the living/bedroom one and the third, external, the terrace.”
“The tiles also disguise the sliding door that leads to the toilet.”
So what do yo think, did you expected this place to be this white? I mean it’s absolutely everywhere. And I’m guessing this would be a nightmare for the cleaning freaks out there.
But overall, the place looks awesome, and it’s filled with interesting features, hiding places and a unique design.
