The strangest music instruments in the world

8.

The Hydraulophone

Making music and making a splash at the same time, this is the effect of this next instrument.

When talking about a splash we were referring literally coming in contact with water to create music.

The Hydraulophne, is the instrument who uses water or other fluids to create music.

Invented by Steve Mann the instrument uses acoustics to generate music, acoustics created by the interaction of water with the user’s hands and the instrument itself.

Using a water connection under pressure and a manifold, several flow channels and jet outlets, the hydraulophone is number 8 on our list of the strangest music instruments.
