The strangest music instruments in the world

6.

Laser Harp

The future of harps sound pretty good and we all saw how actual string could be eliminated from the equation.

Based on technology and a patented use of lasers, the laser harp is a electronic music instrument which uses a laser.

To be able to produce music you should block the lasers at a certain point and by programming, they would replicate the sound the normal harp expresses when you touch it in a certain spot.

Discovered in the late 80’s and used since then in concerts for the visual and audio effect of the harp, this strange music instrument comes in many forms.

From the framed style, to the unframed one, to the Infinite Beam, and the bi-color harp, the instrument is made from different electronic devices and software also a great array of computer generated instruments like the projector, the range finder or the photodiode.
