Stunning Warehouse Renovation by Paola Navone
If you want some great ideas on how to transform and decorate your home, you’re in the right place because as you know, we love to keep you up to date with everything that’s new out in the world.
And that’s how we found this amazing warehouse which was beautifully transformed in a two storey apartment.
The one responsible for all of this, is Paola Navone, who took advantage of the big space that this old warehouse had to offer, and transformed it into something amazing.
Located in Umbria, Italy, this place was an abandoned tobacco-drying warehouse, covering over 5,300 square feet with a 30-foot-high ceiling.
But when the owners wanted to transform the warehouse into an appealing home, they asked upon the services of Italian design legend, Paola Navone, and this is what came out of it!
The warehouse renovation starts with a beautiful bright living room which features a big (and most definitely very comfortable) sofa, and in front of it, a small wooden coffee table on wheels.
As you can see Paola Navone customized the place using the white interior in order to created an endless space effect.
Into bringing a sense of fluidity to the linear design of the house, a couple of different height wardrobes were used, in combination with the staggered line of the floor planks on the cat walk.
Upstairs we can find a peaceful family room, in the middle of which sits a beautifully designed fireplace, bringing a little contrast to the all white theme used.
And behind the family room, somewhere downstairs, we can find the bedroom, which is absolutely stunning. Using the same all white theme, contrasted by the warm touch of the wooden floors, this area is separated from the bathroom with a beautiful standing wardrobe.
The warehouse itself is bright and airy with a total of 52 windows situated within the living and dining room, and bellow one side of the catwalk there’s a spot where you can find a mishmash of patterned black and white tiles instead of the wooden floor, which brings a little bit of diversity to the whole space.
And while we’re talking about a bit of diversity, the kitchen incorporates hexagonal tiles, and splashes of colour, which is a rare thing in this place, so they will definitely catch your attention.
The stunning warehouse renovation includes a beautiful black face large soaker tub, and the same fun geometrical patterned tiles that we talked about earlier.
