4. Gay Pride festival
The Gay Pride festival is the most recent tradition in Spain. It is a part of the movement in favor of rights for the LGBT community. From June 29th to July 3rd, the city of Madrid is transformed into one freedom party.
Chueca, a part of Madrid, has been known for its openness and tolerance for LGBT community even before this issue became a trending topic.
For the whole week, the streets of Chueca are colored rainbow. They are open for visitors to have a great time throughout the cultural activities.
There will be many outdoor bars and pavement cafes where you can hang out. In addition, parades and live performances will keep you entertained.
