The 57-years-old Beny is an Israeli-born tycoon, the heir of his father Steinmetz Diamond Group.
Beny is also the owner of BSR Group (Beny Steinmetz Resource Group) which owns the Octea Diamond Group that was mined from the Koidu mine in Sierra Leone diamonds who are worth 10 millions carats.
Another diamond in Steinmetz collection is an 59.6 carat pink diamond called Steinmetz Pink, who was reported to be worth up to $100 millions back in 2003.
