Nevermind the fact that the movie itself is somewhat a big joke (meaning that in the best way possible), Ryan Reynolds took it upon himself to promote it as much as he could, the only way he knew how–by making fun of it.

On April First, RR announced on his twitter that the film would be PG-13. As it has lots of swearing, fighting, and bloody scenes, the fans were out of their mind with rage. He later responded that it was, of course, all part of one of his pranks.
