Preferably known as Dr. Boen, Boenjamin Setiawan founded Kalbe Farma with his six siblings. It is one of the largest medical group in Indonesia. Today, Kalbe Farma became Kalbe Group. It is not just about pharmacy. It has developed into health food, distribution, storage, research facility, education, and hospital.
Despite the company recent problem which demanded them to pull back 26 health products from the market, Mitra Keluarga hospital raised more than 340 million US dollars in 2015.
