3. Andorra
On the third place is Andorra with 83 years of life expectancy. Interestingly, Andorra is not listed in the UN’s list of countries with high life expectancy.
Perhaps it is because Andorra is just a sovereign micro-state. It is bordered by Spain and France. That is why the Andorran speak Catalan (another form of Spanish), Spanish, and French.
What makes them have such high life expectancy? One of the reasons may be security. Even though this micro-state does not have official army, it is defended by Spain and France. Plus, the male head of each family in Andorra is required to own a gun by law in case of attack or emergency.
Besides that, Andorran government provides free health-care for all of the Andorran. However, it comes with a price. They have to be employed. No free things for lazy people.
