17. New Zealand
Living in a farm where the cool tropical breeze surrounds is heaven on earth. That is one of the reasons why people of New Zealand also have 82 years of life expectancy. Just like our previous countries, the female has longer life with 84 years while the male has 80 years.
However, according to UN, New Zealand only has 81.6 years on 13th place. This is lower than Sweden with 81.9 years. While on our list according to WHO, it is a tie.
More than 4 million people live in this island nation of the southwestern Pacific Ocean. They are also known as the Kiwi, after the fruit.
Perhaps the key to the Kiwi’s longevity is living a simple farm life in the cool tropical weather. Sheep and kiwi all around for everybody!
