13. Kraft Heinz (Sales Revenue: $20.2 billion)
Kraft was the first cheese product I knew and ate. Until today, it is still my favorite brand for cheese products. But mostly because this brand has more variants than any other available in my country. And that is how Kraft conquers this market. It won’t let you turn your face to other brands to look for more. Because it has it all.
Then, last year, it merged with Heinz to form a bigger alliance, Kraft Heinz. Heinz has been dominating the world of ketchup since nearly 150 years ago, not just in United States where it originates in. Heinz also dominates ketchup world in other countries. In Indonesia, their products are sold under ABC brand, one of the biggest in the country.
Do you know that Starbuck was owned by Kraft? Only until a few years ago the coffee empire decided to fly solo after paying some billion dollars to the company. Regardless, thanks to this Kraft’s innovation, simple cup of coffee from a 24-hour dine around the corner is no longer enough to cure our thirst for caffeine.
Kraft Heinz is making around $20.2 billion on annual sales revenue. And its market cap has reached $95 billion. That puts it as the world’s 75th best in terms of market value.
