2. Get Up Close to the Podium Celebration
The best part of the race for the riders is the podium celebration. Those riders compete to get to the top of that podium and stand taller than any other riders (except for Dani Pedrosa though, he is still not taller than Valentino Rossi even though he steps on that first place podium. Sorry, Dani.)
Not every fan can be that close to the podium. In most races, they will only allow the riders’ team members and the media to access this exclusive area.
But in some occasions, there are lucky VIPs who can stand there together with the riders’ team and celebrate the win. Isn’t that awesome?
You can sing along to their national anthem, act like you are the team the riders thanking for the win, and perhaps got yourself a splash of champagne from the riders’ celebration.
