3. Lynsey Addario
Lynsey Addario made a big name for herself in the photography industry with her unique style which focuses on women’s role in society, human rights, and other conflicts.
Her work has been featured in many prestigious publications including in The New York Times, Time, Newsweek, and other renowned publications.
She has covered stories in several conflicts around the world, including Afghanistan under Taliban control, Haiti, Congo, and Iraq.
Addario’s photography is very raw and mostly tells the dark truth. She sometimes choses to focus on portrait photography, but doesn’t come close to defining her works.
Her portfolio is often mind disturbing with life and death images telling deep stories that are rarely discussed in the open and often swept under the rug.
