Messerschmitt KR175 Bubble Car

When certain builders change their main manufacturing product to another one, it usually results in a weird looking car.

This is the case of the Messerschmitt KR175 Bubble Car, a production vehicle made by a manufacturer who swiped planes for cars.

The builder was forced after World War II not to build planes anymore and he decided to do cars, the final result being a three wheel model.

The KR 175 was the proud model of the German manufacturer and featured some special distinctions which came from the plane world.

With a bubble canopy and tandem seating, like in planes, the designers and engineers made the canopy open like in fighter planes and gave the entire car an aerodynamic form, resulting in this weird looking vehicle of the past.
