The 2026 bag was produced by Distinctive Assets, a marketing firm that is not affiliated with the Academy or the Oscars. The company’s founder Lash Fary said the gifts are not based on need and that the aim is to showcase small businesses and brands that give back. Recipients included acting and directing nominees such as Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, Kate Hudson, Rose Byrne, Jacob Elordi, Elle Fanning, Teyana Taylor and Emma Stone.

- Treats: Haize & Honey cookies, TruFru freeze-dried chocolate fruit, Tea Forté teas and gold-dusted pretzels from Posh Pretzels.
- Life admin: a $600 credit from Trusted Prenup toward a custom prenuptial agreement, the only item with a stated individual value in the reports we read.
- Cannabis and THC: products from Beboe and others, which the coverage described with the nickname “the Hermès of marijuana.”
