8.They’re a bunch of lesbians
This is one of the craziest perceptions I’ve heard about feminists: they’re all a bunch of lesbians.
How on Earth could that possibly become a common theory?! It’s not about the sexual orientation, it’s about a person’s belief!
Of course, there are lesbians that are feminists, but that doesn’t mean anything at all. It’s like you’re saying that if some lesbians are atheist than this means all female atheists are lesbians. That’s completely insane, right?
Note: don’t make any correlation with atheism, it was the first example that crossed my mind given the fact that atheism is a choice as is feminism.
