7. BMW Z8
The Z8 was a roadster produced between the years 1999 and 2003.
Carrying the E52 BMW model code, the Z8 started as the production variant 1997 Z07 concept car.
Even though the Z07 was just a concept car, a lot of its features were passed on to the Z8, obviously with some changes.
In order to provide an aerodynamic stability, a larger front airdam was fitted, and the windshield of the Z8 was extended upward.
Even the steering wheel suffered some changes, selecting a three spoke design in order to replace the four-spoke one from the Z07.
The car featured an all aluminum chassis and body, and used a 4.9 L 32-valve V8, that developed 400 hp.
