8. 1987 Ferrari F40
Oh the F40, I think everybody remembers this beauty!
Built from 1987 to 1992, the F40 was a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-door coupé sports car, and the proud successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO.
The Ferrari F40 was designed to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary and was the last Ferrari automobile personally approved by Enzo Ferrari.
The body, Pininfarina design obviously, but this time on a whole new level.
It featured panels made of carbon fiber, kevlar, and aluminum for strength and low weight, and it was intensively tested as far as the aerodynamic part goes.
The F40’s light weight and high power gave the vehicle tremendous performance potential.
